You’re invited to a farm tour near North Battleford, Saskatchewan!
Visit a much-loved establishment of the Prairie seed world, Prairie Garden Seeds. Tour the seed garden, learn about saving seeds and growing biodiversity, then meet some new seed-head friends over a potluck supper. Rachelle Ternier will discuss tips for gardeners and seed savers alike, including isolation distances and seed saving for tricky crops like corn and more. Everyone is welcome, so if you’ve ever wondered where your seeds come from or what it takes to grow seed regionally and run a small-scale seed business, come join us on Aug. 22nd!
