Organic Field Day, Conservation Learning Centre, Prince Albert

SaskOrganics is excited to be teaming up with the Conservation Learning Centre (CLC) for the afternoon organic field day session featuring tours of organic-specific plots and other plots of interest including:

• Demonstrating the Efficacy of Foliar-Applied Nitrogen Fixing Bacteria under an Organic Management
  System
• Increasing flax seeding rates to suppress weeds under organic management
• Direct seeding a cash crop into cover crops
• In-Crop Mechanical Weed Control Using a Tine Harrow in Barley and Peas
• Haskap berries
• Plus networking and discussion!

The CLC will be hosting their regular annual field day in the morning with the organic field day co-hosted by SaskOrganics in the afternoon. The morning and afternoon sessions will be separated by a shared lunch where attendees can mix and mingle.
