Lake Country Organic Field Day-Henribourg & Paddockwood

SaskOrganics is excited to be co-hosting a field day in Henribourg and Paddockwood on July 31st!

Crop tours including oats and peas, buckwheat, cover crops, robot-seeded lentils, equipment viewing including a Farmdroid robotic seeder/weeder, Einböck tine-weeder, solar installations, electric truck. Lunch and refreshments included and plenty of time for networking.

ITINERARY

*All times listed in CST (SK Time).

*While we do our best to bring you the program as advertised, itinerary is subject to change. Exact locations are shared upon registering.

  • 9:00-9:30am: Registration & Refreshments, Colin MacDonald’s Farm, Henribourg
  • 9:30am-12:00pm: Viewing fields of Oats, 4010 peas, yellow peas, oats with alfalfa. Einböck tine weeder will be out for attendees to view and ask questions.
  • Noon-1:00: Lunch & Networking, Colin MacDonald’s shop
    During Lunch: Sponsor acknowledgments, Ecocert OFCAF On Farm Climate Action Fund talk
  • 1:00-1:30pm: Drive to Stefan Graner’s Farm, Paddockwood
  • 1:30pm-4:00pm: Viewing fields of Buckwheat, lentils seeded with FarmDroid Robot,
    cover crops, Equipment viewing including Interrow cultivator, FarmDroid robot, solar panel installations, fully electric truck
  • 4:00pm-4:30pm: Refreshments and networking
  • 4:30pm: Approximate end time

$15 + GST: Includes Admission, Lunch & Refreshments

We appreciate registrations by Noon July 28th for sending numbers to the caterers! Deadline to register July 31 or as capacity allows.

*No refunds. Tickets can be transferred to other guests if notified in advance. In the event that this field day has to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, refunds will be issued.
